Matt Nelson, owner of Nelson's Carpet Care, began cleaning carpet and upholstery for a large cleaning company in Wisconsin in 1987. After working for over 30 years in the industry, Matt still enjoys what he does, and is proud of the results he achieves for his clients. After several years in the industry, Matt became the location trainer for his company, which gave him the opportunity to show up-and-coming professionals on how to properly clean carpet and upholstery.

As the company trainer, Matt was then put in charge of quality control, division manager, cleaner scheduler, and the area rug cleaning specialist. These positions gave Matt and in-depth knowledge of the carpet cleaning industry, which he now brings to the residential clients in New Richmond, Wisconsin and surrounding cities.

Finding valuable and competent cleaning technicians was the most difficult part as a trainer. The amount of attention to detail his new trainees needed to be taught was one of the most rewarding aspects of the job — to spread the knowledge he had acquired over the years to new trainees.
